A trial window is a question, not a lifetime

⏱️ A defined trial window helps turn a large ambition into an answerable question.
XPRIZE Healthspan uses an intervention lasting a year or less to test functional improvement. That boundary makes the competition's question concrete. It also leaves other questions open: does a benefit persist, what happens after the intervention, and what would longer-term follow-up reveal?
A useful ARDD 2026 discussion keeps the time horizon attached to the claim. Improvement measured within a study is valuable evidence for that window; it is not automatically evidence of permanent benefit or a longer life.
