💡 In the tirzepatide-arm analysis she presented, 18 of more than 2,000 methylation surrogates changed significantly, including measures related to metabolic and inflammatory biology. These are estimates derived from methylation rather than direct measurements of every underlying marker. The presentation also highlighted unfinished work: a control-arm comparison was requested, and individual responder data were unavailable. The value of a large assay panel depends on selecting, interpreting and validating its most informative signals.
